Zoning Verification

The zoning district designation of a particular parcel, or group of parcels, may be verified in writing by the Zoning Administrator.

Requests for Zoning Verification may be made in person by visiting the Planning Department or

Zoning Verification Fax - (843) 308-4727

The Planning Department does not give zoning verification by telephone. You may view our online map for existing zoning (See Below) on this web site for convenience.

Each zoning verification request should specify the (TMS)Tax Map parcel number(s) in a list format and address for the property or properties involved.

PLEASE PRINT REZONING INFORMATION INQUIRY:  Name, Current phone number to be reached at, Explanation of information requested on your fax.

Note: Response time to your zoning verification inquiry may vary depending upon the amount of TMS information inquired about and Planning Department workload but the verification is normally provided within the same workday.
