Dinner Theatre Series
The Cultural Arts Department hosts a Dinner Theatre series, with presentations in September, November, February, and March. The series has proven to be a popular program for couples and groups. Guests are served a candlelit dinner at 7:00pm, then sit back to watch lively performances by professional actors while enjoying dessert and tea/coffee. All programs are scheduled to take place on Friday evenings in the elegant setting of the Embassy Ballroom at the Charleston Area Convention Center Complex. Performances take place in November, February, and March or April. A special Summer Children’s Theatre series is presented in June and July. Performances are scheduled to take place in the Sterett Hall Auditorium on the former Charleston Naval Base on Friday mornings at 10:00am and last for approximately one hour. Groups may bring sack lunches to enjoy after the performance at Riverfront Park, which is just around the corner. Click the link above for ticket information and performance details.
