The City of North Charleston offers residents and visitors a variety of entertainment venues from a large arena setting to the intimate store front theater.
As the largest entertainment venue in the Lowcountry, the North Charleston Coliseum Complex has hosted over 7 million visitors at countless concerts, conventions, sporting events, and family shows. The Complex boasts a 13,500 seat Coliseum, a Convention Center with an exhibition hall of 76,960 square feet, and a Performing Arts Center with 2,300 seats and full production capabilities.
North Charleston is also home to the Old North Charleston Picture House, a project of the Greater Park Circle Film Society, presenting films and shorts not generally shown in local commercial theaters.
The Dinner Theatre Series is held in the elegant setting of the Embassy Ballroom of the Charleston Area Convention Center. Hosting local to national productions, the series provides guests with an evening of good eats and entertainment.
